Wix Pricing: Annual Bills, Renewal Timing and Separate Email Costs
Public pricing checked October 5, 2026: the live Wix pricing page now displays annual-plan monthly equivalents of $17 for Light, $29 for Core, $39 for Business and $159 for Business Elite. It states that yearly subscriptions are paid in full and applicable taxes are additional. These match the reference table below. Monthly billing figures below are separately attributed to Wix’s published guide. Account-specific checkout, discounts and future renewal amounts are not established by these public listings.

Wix’s published annual-plan reference prices
Wix’s own Premium plans guide lists the following monthly equivalents when billed annually. The calculated annual figures multiply that reference rate by twelve. They are HRL arithmetic, before separately purchased services and any applicable tax, not a checkout observation.
| Plan | Annual-billing monthly equivalent | Calculated annual reference subtotal |
|---|---|---|
| Light | $17 | $204 |
| Core | $29 | $348 |
| Business | $39 | $468 |
| Business Elite | $159 | $1,908 |
The same guide describes Light for informational sites and Core or higher for accepting payments. Select the exact features you need before comparing price: a brochure site and a functioning store are different purchases. Check Wix’s current plan selection in your billing country.
What does Wix cost per month?
Wix’s official free-versus-paid guide, checked October 5, 2026, separately lists month-to-month prices. These are provider-published reference rates, not HRL checkout quotes. An annual monthly equivalent should never be substituted for the monthly-billing price.
| Plan | Published monthly-billing rate | 12 monthly payments at that rate | Annual-plan subtotal from the table above |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | $24 | $288 | $204 |
| Core | $36 | $432 | $348 |
| Business | $46 | $552 | $468 |
| Business Elite | $172 | $2,064 | $1,908 |
The totals are HRL arithmetic before tax and extras, assuming the listed rate stays unchanged. Monthly billing requires less cash at signup; annual billing prepays the year. Confirm the current offer and next payment in your own account before buying.
When does Wix charge for renewal?
Wix’s renewal documentation says monthly subscriptions charge on their expiry date. Yearly and multi-year subscriptions may be charged up to three weeks before expiry, with renewal notifications beginning thirty days before the next payment. Check the upcoming-payment section in the account for the actual date and amount.
Budget using the payment date. If you intend to change platforms, start the rebuild early enough to complete it before the renewal decision. Turning off a renewal and moving a functioning website are separate tasks.
Domain and business email have their own bills
The plans-page domain offer describes a first-year voucher for eligible new annual or multi-year purchases, not free domain renewal indefinitely. Domain renewal cost depends on the selected domain and current terms; no universal amount is verified here.
Wix’s Google Workspace purchase guide says business email is purchased separately and offers monthly or yearly billing. Add the correct plan and mailbox count to the budget, rather than multiplying a website price and assuming every service is included.
How to compare three- and five-year Wix costs
Start with the first-term invoice. Add each renewal payment required inside your chosen horizon, then domain, email, apps, and selling charges. If a payment prepays years outside that horizon, show the full cash payment separately from allocated service cost. Without a verified renewal rate, a three-year total is a scenario, not a verified TCO.
For example, a quoted first year of $204 plus two hypothetical renewals of $240 would produce $684 in website-subscription cash payments over three years. The $240 figure is an invented calculation input, not a Wix renewal rate. Replace all inputs with your actual quote before comparing builders.

Budget for leaving, too
Wix documents that its standard builder site runs on Wix infrastructure. A new hosting account does not take that working site with it. Treat an external move as a replacement-site project, with a content inventory and acceptance tests. Compare Wix and Squarespace’s documented boundaries and read our export vs. backup guide.
Check a promotion against the next invoice
Before accepting a Wix discount, write down the initial payment, covered months, renewal amount and separate domain and mailbox dates. Divide each payment by its covered term only after keeping the cash payment visible. If the renewal amount is missing, mark it unknown rather than extending the discount into a three-year budget. Compare an ordinary-price scenario with the dated offer.
Before buying: confirm your own invoice
Confirm the current US/USD first invoice for each term, offer eligibility, renewal rate, domain renewal, mailbox charges, and the relevant selling fees. Preserve the quote date and source alongside every plan record. This guide explains public pricing and billing documentation; it does not claim HRL hands-on testing or a verified checkout quote.
