DreamHost says the plan auto-renews at the displayed non-promotional rate after the initial term. For a rough comparison at unchanged rates, 12 months at $10.99/month equals $131.88, while 48 months at $7.99/month equals $383.52, before taxes or extras. Those are arithmetic examples, not quotes for a future invoice. Confirm the actual renewal term and amount in your account before its due date.
DreamHost’s current refund guidance says shared hosting fees can be refunded if the plan is canceled within the first 30 days of opening the account. Domain registration and paid email have separate rules, so do not assume every line item is refundable.
