Hostinger Alternatives 2026: Billing & Best Fits

Hostinger can be a good fit when its long-term price and included tools match your needs. An alternative may make more sense if you do not want to prepay for several years, need a different backup schedule, want clearer monthly billing, or prefer a managed WordPress plan. Compare the total bill and what each host takes care of—not just the advertised monthly equivalent.
Hostinger alternatives at a glance
| Alternative | Why compare it | Check before switching |
|---|---|---|
| DreamHost | Monthly billing is available on its Web Hosting plans | Monthly rate, renewal, email and site limits |
| Bluehost | Several renewal terms are listed for shared hosting, including monthly and annual terms | Plan-specific renewal prices, add-ons and which features are included |
| SiteGround | Publishes standard rates by subscription length, including a one-month option | Standard price versus introductory offer and which plan includes the backups you need |
| Pressable | Managed WordPress hosting with staging and WordPress-focused support | Annual commitment, site/visit allowance and overage charges |
Start with the reason you want to leave
If you want a shorter commitment, compare DreamHost
DreamHost says monthly billing is available across its Web Hosting plans; longer terms receive larger discounts. That makes it worth comparing if you do not want a multi-year prepayment. Check the monthly total, renewal rate, email arrangement, site count, storage and refund terms in the current plan selector. See our DreamHost pricing breakdown for term and email costs.
If you want a familiar shared-hosting alternative, compare Bluehost
Bluehost publishes shared-hosting renewal prices for monthly, 12-month and 36-month terms. Its current renewal table lists the Starter rate at $15.99 per month on a monthly term, $11.99 per month for 12 months and $9.99 per month for 36 months. These are renewal rates, not the first-term offer, and term length changes the amount paid upfront. Compare the exact plan and renewal cycle available in your account. Our Bluehost pricing page separates first-term and renewal math.
If you want to compare standard rates and backup features, review SiteGround
SiteGround publishes standard rates by plan and term. Its current table lists StartUp at $17.99 per month for a 12-month term, and also shows a one-month standard option at a higher rate. Treat this as a regular-price comparison; discounted signup offers are separate. Check the plan’s site limit and backup features against your current Hostinger plan before deciding. See SiteGround pricing and renewal math.
If the main need is managed WordPress, compare Pressable
Pressable Signature 1 costs $250 billed annually and lists one WordPress install, up to 30,000 visits per month and 20GB storage. It is a different service category from entry shared hosting, so it may suit a WordPress site owner who values managed workflows, staging and WordPress support—but the annual bill and capacity limits need to fit. Review its current overage terms before a move. See Pressable plan details.
Check the actual Hostinger trade-off first
Hostinger’s current Premium offer is $2.99 per month for a 48-month term: $143.52 due for the four-year term, with renewal shown at $10.99 per month. The low monthly equivalent assumes a long prepayment. If the term is acceptable and the plan includes what you use, switching solely for a lower advertised rate may not help. Compare the renewal rate and features with the actual alternative quote. Our Hostinger pricing guide and stay-or-switch checklist help frame that decision.
Before you migrate
- Record current renewal dates, domain and email services, backups, storage use, databases, DNS records and any add-ons.
- Confirm the destination supports your WordPress/PHP versions, plugins, site traffic and required email setup.
- Make an independent backup and test a copy on staging before pointing your domain to the new host.
- Verify forms, checkout, password resets, cron jobs, redirects, certificates and analytics after the DNS change.
- Keep the old plan active until the new site and email work, then cancel before another renewal.
You can usually change hosts without changing your domain or page URLs. Keeping public URLs stable reduces avoidable SEO migration work. Follow our hosting migration SEO checklist.
